绕梁音绝歌人渺，犹有啼鹃格调高。
酒酒连声玫瑰酒，欲将双颊染樱桃。
注：歌人。指古波斯名歌者David。
And David's Lips are lockt; but in divine
High-piping Pehlevi, with "Wine! Wine! Wine!
Red Wine!" — the Nightingale cries to the Rose
That sallow cheek of hers to' incarnadine.
